I recently decided to participate in the annual Livestrong Challenge Century ride. I am a strong believer in the Lance Armstrong Foundation and what they stand for, and fully support it. I have been an avid bike rider for years, and have commuted to work for the past 2 years regardless of weather, (see snow bike) I will be riding the Livestrong Century ride on August 26th. I will be documenting my training for this event by submitting daily entries into the training blog, which can be accessed from this page.

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, either directly or indirectly. The Lance Armstrong Foundation seeks donations to help those affected by cancer. The most important thing I think the Lance Armstrong Foundation does is support and promote cancer research, and clinical trials. In my opinion clinical trials are our best shot at helping those who need help the most. I personally have benefited from experimental treatment, so of course I am a little biased!
